Our head brace is hand forged by a local blacksmith, and no two are alike. Each has been shaped by hand using heat, anvil and arm power. We also think it is cool that the metal has been re-purposed from antique farm equipment – a hay rake.
The unique angle is to allow the articulating grip head and c-stand (separate purchase) to all be well below the subjects shoulders, thus providing a lower centre of gravity which allows the head brace to be lighter than similar braces.
